This is according to Deputy President William Ruto.
The DP said that the government was putting in place all measures to ensure that the country avoids skirmishes and bloodshed from political incitement.
He said as a country, Kenya has learnt from its past and will not become 'foolish' to walk that path again.
"The events of post election will not happen again. We are not fools. It is only fools who do not learn from their mistakes," he said.
Earlier, Ruto asked NASA leader Raila Odinga to stop threatening the nation with violence because he chose to boycott the election out of his own volition.
"Raila chose, out of will, not to participate in the election. Kenyans had nothing to do with that decision. He should stop threatening peace in the country," he said.
He accused Raila of trying but failing to marshal support in other parts of the country and choosing to export violence to counties like Nairobi and Bungoma.
"Since there was only one region where violence was being experienced, the NASA leader and his agents are attempting to export the mayhem to other regions," he said.
