Garissa township Member of Parliament Aden Duale has been the latest leader to call for the repatriation of the opposition activist who has since been deported to Canada, vowing to push for the realization of his demand for valid travelling documents.

"Miguna is a Kenyan and we will see to it that he is issued with a valid passport as he has demanded and is allowed back into the country," said the National Assembly Majority Leader in a video that surfaced online recently.

According to Omari, the DP is possibly behind the attempt in line with his 2022 presidential bid, saying that the leader is keen on facilitating the firebrand lawyer's return to boost his candidature.

"Duale's remarks are just a tip of the iceberg and more efforts to have the back lawyer could be secretly ongoing under the leadership of Ruto. The possible plan is to establish a mega reconciliation as he seeks to win the presidency," ha said on Radio Citizen Friday.

Miguna's woes were initiated by his involvement in opposition leader Raila Odinga's January 30 inauguration, with the immigration department declaring his presence in the nation illegal.
