Deputy President William Ruto has strongly hit out at NASA leader Raila Odinga over what he termed as deceiving the masses concerning the repeat presidential polls.
In response to Raila claimed that less than a quarter of the registered voters cast their vote, Ruto said that Kenyans had come out in large numbers to vote for them.
"It is incorrect for Odinga to say only 3.5 million turned out. More than 7.5 million turned out. Odinga wants to peddle a narrative that suits his political propaganda," Ruto said.
He was speaking on Saturday during an exclusive interview with the CNN.
