Deputy President William Ruto has called for a six-piece voting pattern in Rift Valley, which will see Jubilee Party scoop all seats at stake in August.
He further says the move will enable Jubilee government push its agenda in both county assemblies and parliament.
The country's second in command urged locals to reject 'funny' parties which he said had no agenda for the people of Rift Valley.
"We must increase our numbers in both the assemblies and parliament. That can only happen if you vote Jubilee candidates in all seats available," he told supporters at Ndanai on Friday.
"I am aware of funny parties with no agenda here. Send them packing in the ballot as a protest to rhetoric and non-performance," he said indirectly, referring to Chama Cha Mashinani under the leadership of Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto.
Jubilee party is facing major revolt in Rift Valley with KANU chairman Gideon Moi and Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto providing alternatives, a move that has kept the DP keen to ensure he doesn't lose his support base
