In a tour of the county, Ruto was met by ecstatic crowds that demanded he addresses them, overwhelmed by joy the DP shoot out of his SUV's rooftop with a wide smile.
A man who knows how to charm a crowd, Ruto greeted the crowd in Kikuyu vernacular sending them into a wild laughter.

Ruto said that the Jubilee government will honour its campaign pledges to the people of Kiambu such as fixing the road network.
"A good, functioning road network reduces the distance between people, services and knowledge, allowing more children to go to school. It increases mobility, benefitting farmers and businesspeople and boosts household income growth." the DP said.
The DP also attended St. Joseph High school celebrations for their 60th anniversary.
