Deputy President William Ruto has revealed an alleged plan by NASA to used in getting into government.
Speaking in Busia on Friday, the DP said that NASA was planning to cause chaos that will lead to calling off the repeat presidential polls.In return, Ruto said that the opposition will the call for a coalition government."We know your strategy is to have demonstrations that will lead people to fight so there are no polls. Then you call for a nusu mkate government. It will not happen," said Ruto.He called on opposition leader Raila Odinga to stop misleading his followers on boycotting polls
During the rally, Ruto was accompanied by President Uhuru Kenyatta who warned NASA against plans to boycott the upcoming polls.
He said Raila had no powers to stop the elections and the government will not stand by and watch its citizens fail to vote.
NASA has tabled a number of demands which they demand to be fulfilled before agreeing to take part in the polls.
