Deputy President William Ruto is among leaders who have sent out an Easter message to Kenyans.
Easter, which is a holiday marked across the world by Christians, is the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus from the tomb on the third day after his crucifixion.
In his message, Ruto called on Kenyans to observe traffic rules and show courtesy to other road users as they travel to different parts of the country during the festive season.
The DP further urged Kenyans to seek God's face.
"In remembrance of Christ's ultimate sacrifice, we reaffirm God's preeminence in our lives and surrender our being to Him. Through His enduring mercies, grace, and favor, we testify to restoration, reconciliation and an abundance of goodness in our land. God's omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient nature continues to be a powerful blessing and a constant reminder that to achieve greatness, we must seek His face," said Ruto.
"Safe journey to those traveling to be with loved ones; observe traffic rules and show courtesy to other road users. Happy Easter," the DP added.
