Kathiani member of parliament Robert Mbui has asked Jubilee government to respect wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
Mbui who was speaking during a prize giving day in Kauti secondary school in Kathiani said that the deputy president William Ruto disrespected Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka during his tour to Mwala sub-county last week.
Mbui asked the National Cohesion and integration commission to ensure Ruto apologises to Kalonzo over his disrespectful remarks.
"When deputy president toured Mwala sub-county he used his time to belittle the former Vice president by asking people to pray for him, between him and Kalonzo who needs prayers?" wondered Mbui.
He noted that by the jubilee government touring Ukambani region promising development doesn't give it the right to speak ill of the leaders from the region.
Mbui's sentiments were shared by Makueni women representative Rose Museo who demanded that Wiper leader be respected citing that he is not a mere boy for the jubilee government to trample on him anytime they feel like.
