Deputy President William Ruto has slammed the leadership of the opposition CORD, describing it as a failed coalition that 'lacks direction'.
Speaking on Saturday in Kwale County during his tour of the Coastal region, Ruto said the opposition has nothing new to offer Kenyans, accusing the coalition's principals of none performance when they served in top government positions.
"They have not registered their party and it looks like an NGO. They are unlike Jubilee which knows its candidate," he said.
Ruto further said it was regrettable that the opposition keeps opposing major government projects that seeks to benefit Kenyans.
"The initiatives, including water projects in some parts of the country, that they oppose are aimed at helping poor citizens," Ruto said.
"Am told they are coming to oppose Mwache and Mzima water project in Kwale county," he added.
