Deputy President William Ruto insists that the South Rift Region is intact in Jubilee Party, despite the perceived influence of Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto.
Ruto, who took voter registration campaigns to Bomet on Friday, dismissed those opposing Jubilee as 'lost sheep', and promised them a 'convincing' defeat.
He also seized the opportunity to cite development record of Jubilee government adding that President Uhuru Kenyatta's administration will complete most of its projects before elections.
"Are you in Jubilee or some other funny parties? Tell them that this is a solid Jubilee reason and they should be prepared for a convincing defeat," he said..
"We are in the process of completing a few projects that are underway in this region. Let those opposing Jubilee be ready for a tough battle," he said.
The country's second in command has been at loggerheads with Governor Rutto and have openly exchanged bitterly in what political pundits term as supremacy battles in the vote rich Rift Valley.
