DP William Samoei Ruto who has recently been making inroads across the country region among which are dominated by ODM supporters, he has embarked on Nyamira County to set up mega projects as he is popularizing his presidential bid.
In his Facebook post on Thursday, Ruto said the government is ensuring that secondary and Primary schools get all the needed facilities that will efficient the learning.
He said that the government in collaboration with Kuwait has injected Sh 2.1 billions to set up the project.
"Primary and secondary schools in Nyamira County will benefit from a Sh2.1 billion Kenya and Kuwait joint project to expand facilities with a view to improving quality, ensuring all children get equal opportunity." Ruto said.
In his home at Karen when he called upon the Gusii legislators, he promised them to steer major projects that will help the residents.
Following the deliberations made, Ruto promised that sh 2.8 billion will be injected for the Bunyunyu Water Project, which will ensure the residents have received clean water and within their reachreach.
"The Bunyunyu Water Project will receive an injection of Sh5.8bn to provide residents with clean and safe water, which is critical to the Big Four pillars of health and food security." Added.
Ruto has been the Deputy president of a jubilee government since 2013, after decamping the ODM party. Before joining ODM, he was a KANU secretary general. It is in this party that he thrived on since 1992. He is now eyeing the top seat in 2022 elections
