Deputy President William Ruto has once again taken a swipe at the Cord coalition telling them they are at different levels and can only complete with Jubilee Party once they reach their level.
Speaking during Mashujaa Day celebration in Machakos County, the Deputy President challenged Cord leader Kalonzo Musyoka and his co-principals to unite their coalition.
"The way we have done as Jubilee we pray to God you also do the same on your side. We know uniting a party is a challenging task and even though you have not been able to unite we pray to God to help you so that we can give Kenyans real choices," Ruto said.
The DP also added that Kenyans should have real choices of leaders based on their performance and policies and not because of their tribes or communities.
He concluded by telling the former vice president to sort out the crisis in the coalition so they can compete.
"If you can be united my brother then we can compete at the same level," he said. "As things are today we are at different levels," he added.
