The National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Odinga will emerge the winner of the August 8 election, Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto has said.
Ruto, who is Raila's co-principal in the opposition alliance, said a majority of Kenyans are behind NASA in its bid to send home President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto.
"We have a majority support in six out of eight regions and still enjoy 40 per cent support in the Rift Valley region," said Ruto on Wednesday.
The Chama Cha Mashinani party leader was speaking in Nandi County where he was accompanied by his co-principal Musalia Mudavadi in drumming up support for the NASA candidate.
The duo traversed Tinderet, Chesumei, Emgwen, Aldai and Nandi Hills constituencies.
Ruto said despite the region voting overwhelmingly for Uhuru in 2013 poll, the residents have not benefited from the Jubilee administration.
He urged them to back the opposition saying it is only in NASA where their interests will be catered for.
"Jubilee must be ready to hand over the Government to NASA after August 8 because there is no way they can defeat us. Join the winning side now," Ruto told Mosoriot residents.
