Chama Cha Mashinani (CCM) party leader Isaac Ruto has exuded confidence that he will trounce all his rivals in the forthcoming general polls.

Ruto, Bomet governor, said that he does not fear the candidate President Uhuru Kenyatta will front to battle it out with him come August.

The governor said that he made an informed decision to cross over to the National Super Alliance(NASA) ahead of the upcoming general polls.

“Joining NASA was a political decision I took without any regrets. CCM supporters and the Kipsigis community at large are fully behind me,” said the governor as quoted by Standard.

The move by the governor to join NASA has changed the political situation of this county as we head to the polls.

The county boss has promised to deliver more than 1.5 million votes to the opposition as they seek to unseat Jubilee from power when that time comes.

Ruto will have to camp in different parts of the county in order to deliver his promise to the opposition. He is expected to face National Assembly Deputy Speaker Joyce Laboso, Dr Julius Kones or Bomet Deputy Governor Stephen Mutai who are contesting for the Jubilee ticket.
