Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto has challenged Kenyans to vote candidates who have their interest at heart, mindless of their respective tribes.
"We should not mind who gets elected but be keen on the agenda that whoever will be president is pursuing," he said.
Speaking at Bomet stadium on Sunday during his homecoming rally after jetting back from South Africa where he went to seek specialised treatment, the governor accused the Jubilee government of sinking the country economically through corruption, calling on Kenyans to vote it out in the 2017 general election.
"We should stand up for the country and our concern heard clearly in the next elections before the situation gets out of hand," he said.
Ruto's homecoming rally was graced by opposition leaders among them; Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, Kanu chairman and Baringo Senator Gideon Mio and ODM deputy party leader and Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya.
