Ruto, who was in the coastal town for two days, renewed war on drug traffickers, a move that Joho considers insincere and dishonest.

And on Tuesday, Joho took another jibe at the DP saying that he was welcome to the coastal region but advice young girls to keep off him.

"we appreciate Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto being here in Mombasa often. They should feel free being here for a week, month or even a year," Joho said.

He added:There presence at least boosts our hospitality industry. However, our young girls should keep off hotels whenever Ruto is around."

His remarks could were in reference to the recent case where the DP was sued for allegedly failing to take responsibility of a child which he allegedly sired out of wedlock.

Ruto however, had defended himself by insisting that he was taking full responsibility of a child only identified as Baby Abby.
