Deputy President William Ruto has faulted the opposition accusing them of trying to get to power through unconstitutional means.

Ruto questioned NASA leader Raila Odinga's political tactics and pointed out that he (Raila) has always opposed laws in Kenya to suit him.

The DP said it was Raila who campaigned strongly for the new constitution, adding that he does not see why the NASA leader should again start faulting the very constitution.

“Those who campaigned against the old Constitution have started campaigning against the new one again. So, is the law the problem or are they?” Ruto tweeted on Friday.

Jubilee leaders Ruto and President Uhuru Kenyatta were in the NO camp that campaigned against the new constitution while Raila Odinga was in the YES camp.

Raila's YES carried the day with a massive 67 per cent vote in the 2010 referendum.
