According to the NASA MP, Ruto’s chances to become president are minimal because the Gusii community will not back him.

“Ruto has got a lot of enemies because he has portrayed dictatorship for the years he has served as the Deputy President. He will be president in his dreams but not in this country,” she said.

She regretted that Ruto numerous tours will not yield fruits because the two Gusii counties are opposition zones.

“Nyamira and Kisii counties are opposition strongholds. I don’t think that the Gsuii community will support him for presidency. He will end his political career as the Deputy President,” she noted.

She called on Jubilee leaders from the Gusii region to stop lying to Ruto that the community members love him and will vote for him in 2022.

The legislator said 2022 is far and leaders from the Gusii region should consider focusing on development and shun early 2022 campaigns.
