President Uhuru Kenyatta has been told to be wary of his Deputy William Ruto or else he would derail his quest for the presidency.
Political analyst George Omanga says Ruto has a lose tongue ad for that reason his own strong hold Rift Valley is falling apart something that will cost them votes.
He adds that Ruto is only interested in his 2022 bid and for that reason his game plan points at the 2022 general elections.
“It is point blank that Ruto is a self-centered politician and for that reason, he will drag Uhuru with him down without even knowing it," Omanga said.
He has urged the president to drop him or tame him if he wanted to survive the 2017 elections.
He adds that Ruto lacks the qualities of a good leader. He will only destroy what Uhuru has built.
“It is a time Uhuru should tame Ruto or seeks another running mate or else he would ruin his presidential quest. We have seen how he attacks the opposition and such a small party as KANU that poses no much threat and for that reason just to prove his might has rendered him unpopular among the locals of Rift Valley which result to lose of votes. He is splitting votes rather than uniting them,” said Omanga.
