Flanked by Chuka Igambang'ombe MP Muthomi Njuki and area senator Kithure Kindiki, Ruto told residents the government was expanding the road network Countrywide by increasing kilometres of tarmac and grading feeder roads.

"This infrastructural development will allow farmers transport their produce to markets, attract local and international investors, promote tourism and open up the country," Ruto said after opening the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) office, at the Chuka Igambang'ombe Constituency.

He added that the Jubilee government had delivered tangible results and that Kenyans were benefiting from Jubilee's programmes to better lives: empowering women, youth and special groups.

He said this was being done by making available loans for businesses; keeping children in school by paying fees; building Technical Training Institutes (TTIs) to make the young competitive and providing modern medicare to guarantee a healthy nation.

"Our pact with Kenyans to serve them diligently, without favor and to take development to all corners of the country is on course,'' he said when he addressed locals at Maara Constituency, within the County.
