Bomet county governor Isaac Ruto has said that his CCM party will start recruiting members to vie for political seats in 2017 polls from October.
The Chama Cha Mashinani party boss said that the decision was made during the party's executive meeting that was held on Tuesday in Nairobi.
"As CCM, we will traverse every corner of this country to popularize our ideas and tell Kenyans that ours is a different story," Ruto is quoted by the star.
Ruto further opposed the dissolution of parties that recently joined Jubilee party.
"I will defend my seat in 2017 on a CCM ticket with no doubt," he noted.
He added that come 2022, CCM party will select its own presidential candidate and there will be no dictatorship in the party.
