Deputy President William Ruto has defended the Jubilee government track record, and has promised to do even more if they are reelected.
Speaking on Monday in his home turf of Uasin Gishu, Ruto said Sh30billion will be used to construct a new national referral hospital in Eldoret town, saying the Moi Teaching and Referral hospital will be under the management of the county.
He also promised to help area farmers by reducing the cost of fertilizer from the current Shs 1,800 per 90kgs to Shs 1,200, in a bid to improve their output.
“Our aim is to create more than 6,5million jobs through establishment of economic zones across the country and this is the only way to improve the lives of our people,” said Ruto.
The Deputy President said a Chinese firm that signed a multi-billion deal with the Kenyan Government under the leadership of President Kenyatta for the construction of an industrial park at the Eldoret Special Economic Zone would create more than 10,000 jobs for the youth.
Other leaders who accompanied the president including Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen promised to rally their troops to vote for the Jubilee Party, adding that they have done a lot for Kenyans.
President Kenyatta, who was also part of the top Jubilee top brass leaders said the Government would make sure all Kenyans lives and property are protected in any part of the country.
