Speaking in Kajiado County on Sunday during their final rally in the area, Ruto said voting for the Jubilee government was voting for ‘the right’ group.

The ruling party, which was led by President Kenyatta, held rallies in Ongata Rongai, Kiserian, Matasia and Ngong towns before heading to Nakuru’s Afraha Stadium for the final rally.

Speaking during the rally, President Kenyatta attacked the opposition, accusing the alliance of spearheading hate and dividing Kenyans on tribal lines.

“Jubilee stands for peace, unity and progress. On Tuesday go and cast your vote and then return to your house to continue with your normal life. Let no one intimidate you. We have taken measures to ensure your safety,” said President Kenyatta.

The President pointed out that the thought of dividing communities was the brainchild of an opposition that is devoid of a development agenda and the only way to ensure progress is not derailed is by voting for the Jubilee.

Saturday’s rallies were the final movements both alliances had, and will now wait for Tuesday as Kenyans will come out to vote for their favourite candidate.
