Deputy President William Ruto has launched a presidential campaign in Bungoma county for his Jubilee Party.
Speaking to Bungoma residents on Thursday, the DP said Jubilee was the only outfit with the resident's interests at heart.
He said they were working on reviving industries in the region for the benefit of the residents.
“We appreciate the votes we got from this county. We got over 125,000 votes and we are here again seeking your support to double the number," he said.
"Raila lost the election and now he is fearing another loss,” Ruto added
He was with leaders from the county including Water CS Eugene Wamalwa, Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka, legislators John Waluke (Sirisia) and Dan Wanyama (Webuye West), and former MPs Ababu Namwamba, Fred Gumo and Musikari Kombo.
