Isaac Rutto has sensationally apologized to opposition supporters for having worked with Jubilee administration at infantry stages of his leadership as Governor.
The Bomet County Chief fell out with Jubilee leadership on ground that it has failed to support decentralized governments.
And on Thursday at Bomas, Rutto said he will traverse across the country to deliver for the National super Alliance, which is yet to name its flag bearer.
“I was part of the group which has mismanaged Kenya and I am sorry for that,” he said amid cheers from enthusiast supporters who had come to receive him formally to the opposition.
The Chama Cha Mashinani party leader also said: “Corruption is at the peak and county governments have been paralyzed. It is only through NASA that the people of Kenya can rescue this nation.”
Although details about his MoU with other NASA affiliates is yet to be made public, it is however understood that his CCM party could be allowed to solely field candidates in specific counties against Jubilee.
Facing stiff competition from Sotik MP Joyce Laboso, Rutto has however defied all odds and joined the opposition as fifth principal, a move that is viewed as a life time gamble by political pundits.
