Speaking on Sunday at Citizen TV, Rutto said Jubilee Party has lost popularity in the Rift Valley region due to 'unfulfilled' promises it made prior to 2013 elections.

"Jubilee Party will be the opposition not only in Bomet but in several othe counties. Mashinani Party has attracted any people and that will be manifested in this year's General elections," eh said.

"They promised many things but nothing is yet to be done. I can assure you that Rift Valley people are not stupid and their wrath will be evident this August," he added.

He also denied being a member of Jubilee Party adding that he broke ranks with the coalition when the United Republic Party was dissolved.

"Rift Valley is now Chama Cha Mashinani stronghold because people moved from defunct URP. It's spreading its wings across the country and we are ready to deliver," he said.
