Outspoken Bomet Governor Isaack Rutto is expected to launch his newly formed Chama Cha Mashinani in Nyamira before carrying out similar exercises in Rift Valley, Nyanza, Western and Northern parts of the country, a Nyamira official has confirmed.

Rutto’s Mashinani party was coined from Pesa Mashinani initiative by Council of Governors which targets more allocation to county units from national government.

On Tuesday, Crispin Abuga who also acts as interim coordinator of the party in the country said Mr. Rutto will grace the Nyamira occasion to launch a serious political quest.

“We are in the final preparations for launching of this office and our party leader Rutto will be the one to take charge of the function which we expect to be ready I three weeks’ time,” he said.

“Rutto is launching a serious political quest and he will soon launch similar party offices in Nyanza, Rift Valley, Northern and western parts of the country. The final phase of will see offices launched in Eastern, Central and Nairobi because this is a national party,” he added.

He said the party will also recruit officials who are expected to do national recruitment of members as they seek to set a foundation ahead of 2017 polls.

“As CCM, we are going to set structures and also employ officials who will be recruiting members as we look forward to establish bedrock across the country. The Party Leader will make that clear in Nyamira in three weeks’ time and we are expecting a number of Governors among them our host John Nyagarama to attend,” he said.
