Nakuru Deputy Governor Joseph Rutto has called on parents in Nakuru county to enroll their children in county ECD centers within the county.
Rutto said county government has built 321 new ECD centers across the county as a means of boosting early childhood education in the county.
Rutto said that all the sub-counties have new ECD centers something he said has boosted the number of children enrolling in public schools for the ECD education.
Speaking Tuesday during an interview in his office, Rutto said that the new Ecd center have transformed early childhood education to great levels.
“So far we have 321 new ECD centers spread across the county and that is one great achievement of this county government because it has improved the standards of education in our public schools,” said Rutto
He urged parents to enroll their children in public ECD centers saying that they will get the best care and education in those centers.
“I want to call upon parents to enroll their children in our ECD centers because we have the best of them,” he said.
