Isaac Rutto has challenged the National Super Alliance to name its flag bearer by mid-March; a move which he believes will ease anxiety among the opposition supporters.

Despite signing a working agreement last week, the opposition team is yet to pick its flag bearer, although sources indicate that the person to carry the mantle will be names within three weeks.

And the Bomet Governor, who has been critical of Jubilee regime, says further delay will cause panic and confusion.

“I want to urge NASA to give us a flag bearer. People are eager to know the person so that the real battle begins,” said Ruto on Saturday.

He added: “Kenyans are tired of Jubilee and time has come for us to get a leader who can remove this yoke from our necks. They are a bunch of negative leaders.”

Although Rutto has never supported any specific candidate in NASA, he was at some point elected MP for Chepalungu under Raila Odinga’s ODM.

Just last month, he hosted thousands of opposition supporters in Bomet, a region perceived to be anti-opposition.
