Murang'a women representative Sabina Chega issued a bold message to presidential candidate Ekuru Aukot on Twitter.
On Tuesday morning Chege cautioned the Thirdway Alliance candidate not to go to court.
This follows an announcement by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) that another presidential election would take place on October 17.
The commission also stated that only President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga would take part in the poll.
"I think Ekuru Aukot has a right to go to court, although I would advise him not to, based on the votes he got," Chege said.
Ekuru was quick to respond to the woman representatives comment.
"Tell Sabina Joy or is it Sabina Chege that even the votes she got could be VIFARANGA VYA KOMPYUTA," Ekuru said in a tweet quoted by Citizen TV.
His response went viral before it was later pulled down. The comments from both individuals sparked mixed reactions all over social media.
