Speaking on Thursday when the president visited Kisii, the MP warned that there were few leaders in Jubilee who were working against the government.

“We have been working with the president and the government of Jubilee but we don’t like the few who spoil the good image of the government and the one of the president, and its high time you take the necessary action that is required,” he added.

He said any leader, including governors who were involved in corruption were tainting the development achievements gained by the president and his deputy.

The MP challenged the opposition leaders to come up with solutions to the problems facing Kenyans instead of blaming the jubilee administration.

Onyonka said the government was stable having put in place infrastructure that would enhance the economy such as roads and the Standard Gauge Railway.

He urged the youth to form groups and invest in green houses instead of seeking elusive jobs and handouts from politicians.

The legislator also called upon the present to bring on more development projects that will ensure Gusii land develops to the next level.
