Speaking on Sunday in Nakuru, Mututho threatened to convene a session comprising top leaders from the county to discuss the way forward.

The findings, if implemented will send packing Nakuru County secretary Joseph Motari and Public Service Board head Philip Sigei.

“We want to see changes in how the county government carries out its duties. The committee’s findings should be implemented forthwith to rid the county of the corrupt and those who have been dragging Nakuru behind. I will convene top leaders on Thursday if nothing is done by Wednesday,” Mututho said.

In his statement, among those he seeks to meet to discuss the stalemate includes, Senator James Mungai, Paul Njoroge and Martha Wangare.

Others to be included in the team to coerce the county boss into taking action include gubernatorial aspirants NTSA boss Lee Kinyanjui and Victor Ngatia.

The ad hoc committee which held a session on Wednesday last week recommended, among other things, the removal of the two heads and sacking of 183 county staff whose hiring was marred by irregularities.
