Muhoroni MP Onyango Koyoo is now calling for the dismissal of Labour Cabinet Secretary Kazungu Kambi for allegedly withholding information regarding the death of Kabete MP George Muchai. Koyoo called upon President Uhuru Kenyatta to sack Kambi for failing to volunteer crucial information to the police that could lead to the arrest of the killers. He said the CS cannot now purport to claim that the late Muchai shared with him a plot by some people who were planning to eliminate him over his stand on corruption. “Kambi must record statement with police and possibly charged for withholding information that can lead to the arrest of Muchai killers," he said. The MP said Kambi must record a statement with the police over what he knows concerning the killing of the late MP, his two bodyguards and the driver. Speaking in Kisumu, Koyoo appealed to Internal Security Cabinet Secretary Joseph Nkaissery to ensure that Kambi and two other MPs who spoke during the burial of Muchai yesterday record statements with the police. He said the killings should not be trivialised and leaders brought to account for their 'reckless' words. Koyoo asked President Uhuru to pick professionals to head Cabinet dockets instead of 'political rejects' being recycled.
