Nyamira County Governor John Nyagarama has been asked to sack lazy medical staff working at local dispensaries in the region.
According to Nyansiongo ward MCA Dennis Kebaso, Nyagarama should sack the lazy and fake medical staff to boost delivery of medical services to the people of Nyamira.
“Lazy medical staff members should be sent home and new workers who are ready to work be hired. Nyaragama should send a team to audit the work of all nurses and clinical officers working at the local village dispensaries to ensure residents get quality medical care,” he said.
Kebaso stated that he will ensure hospital workers in his ward are qualified to serve.
“No quack will be sent by the county government to work at any local dispensary in Nyansiongo ward because my people deserve good and improved medical care. I have plans also to ensure more residents who are trained in the medical profession are hindered to work at the local dispensaries,” he added.
He challenged other county MCAs to join hands and improve the health sector in the county.
