Kitutu Chache South Member of Parliament Richard Onyonka has told President Uhuru Kenyatta to resign since he had openly shown he condones corruption.

The MP said the President's failure to sack Devolution Cabinet Secretary Ann Waiguru shows he condones graft.

Speaking on Thursday at the Kisii County headquarters, Onyonka accused president Kenyatta of slowing in the fight against corruption in the country.

"Uhuru has failed Kenyans totally. Let him give us that opportunity and he will see on how we will run the government. Kenyans had high optimism through the Jubilee government but what is taking place now, is that our country is at ransom. He pledged that could step up the war against graft but instead he is tolerating the practice. He has gone back on his pledge," said Onyonka.

Onyonka alleged that MPs and Ambassadors among other public servants have not been paid citing the government is financially constrained.

"What we are witnessing in our country is total corruption ranging from Euro Pond, corruption in the NYS, Internal security, geothermal development corporation among many other scandals that have gone to books of history."

He asked Devolution cabinet secretary Anne Waiguru to step aside and pave way for investigations following adverse allegations of graft in NYS.
