Former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna has shot on the air that Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore has quietly been fired.
Speaking during an interview at NTV during AmLive program on Tuesday morning, Miguna said that the CEO has been fired following the NRM boycott which has majorly affected the service provider.
Miguna who has officially joined the NRM brigade alleged that Bob is one of the casualties of the ongoing boycott who has reportedly gone for a sick leave.
He added that the big ‘boys’ and ‘girls’ at Safaricom have realized that the CEO is a liability.
“The big boys and the big girls at Safaricom have realized that this man is a liability,” Miguna said.
Safaricom has not come out to clear the air on the matter but defending his statement the man who has the same name twice (Miguna) said that it will be confirmed in due time.
“The fact of the matter is that there is a boycott and one of the casualties is Bob Collymore…, I can tell you and this will be confirmed in due time that he has been fired…”. He added
