Safaricom dealers countrywide have decried the current state of politics in the country which is seriously hurting business even at the lowest level.

Speaking at a press conference in Nairobi under their umbrella body of dealers and agents, they reported losses but stopped short of quantifying the loses.

They attributed the loses to the general political environment in the country and not necessarily the boycott call by NRM.

Their conference comes in the wake of a serious threat by NASA which has urged its supporters to boycott products and services from several companies.

The dealers noted that the political leadership must come together to steady the ship and improve the political environment in the country.

They reported slow business even for small agents in the villages including NASA strongholds.
