Abdallah Haji Barre was arrested by the police officers at his workstation in Eastleigh. The arrest happened on Saturday at Safaricom branch in Eastleigh.

Haji is a son to former Mandera politician Mzee Haji Barre.

Friends and relatives have defended Haji after the arrest terming him as a hardworking young man and also said the arrest may be a case of mistaken identity.
