Giant mobile service provider Safaricom has said its products are supporting the Big Four agenda.
According to Safaricom, it's providing tools that power the ‘Ease of Doing Government Business.’
Government agencies and counties that embrace the digital revolution can now maximize efficiency in serving the citizenry and reap benefits such as sealing revenue leaks and improving record keeping and data analysis, said Joe Ogutu, Director, Strategy and Innovation, Safaricom.
“Through technology, we are offering some great solutions to various challenges. We are happy that these solutions are supporting development on the Big Four agenda and across the board,” said Ogutu.
Ogutu outlined products adopted by both national and county governments that are supporting the development of education, boosting food security, supporting housing and buttressing manufacturing.
He was addressing the Fifth Annual Devolution Conference at Kakamega High School, which was officiated by President Uhuru Kenyatta, Governors, Senators and MCAs.
