Dark skin is a very common problem nowadays. This has been caused by the sun, dry skin, different lifestyles, psychological condition, stress, usage of chemical cosmetics, environment, air etc. For this reason, people apply to such methods, as skin whitening. Skin whitening or skin lightening is a procedure that attempts to change skin color to lighter one, by whitening the dark parts/segments of skin. There are many ways for skin whitening, such as using chemicals (creams, soaps, etc), laser lightening, even surgery.

Creams and soaps are  very common way for skin whitening. They include some skin bleaching elements/chemicals which directly work on the dark segments and the pigmentation of the skin. Chemical treatment can effectively lighten the wanted parts, including birthmarks, matching it to the skin color.

Laser skin whitening is another way used by skin lighteners. The cost depends on the company, the equipment they use and the area that needs to be whitened. The recovery will take 1-2 weeks or even more.

Skin whitening surgery is a variant against expensive chemical products and laser treatments. Surgeries are likely to provide a more permanent and beneficial result for skin lightening. Numerous methods can be used for this procedure and it includes peeling, which is the most common one. The recovery may last 2-3 weeks.

To be on safe side, there are natural ways for skin whitening, including home remedies and treatments. This is the best way to save your time and money instead of using whitening products, laser treatment or surgeries. Natural lightening is based on the usage of natural ingredients such as oranges (as well as orange peels), yogurt, lemon, aloe, honey, papaya, milk, tomato, etc. Using these products in making masks will give a good result.
