The Head of State lost his cool after he was irked by Nanok’s claim on the division of returns from the sale of Tullow oil.

He claimed the national government was robbing the local community of its resources by leaving just three billion only out of the oil’s sale.

“Our issue is the reduction of the percentage of the proceeds that should remain in the county. It started out as trillions then came down to KSh 12 billion. The community’s shares was capped to 5% from 10% of the proceeds to KSh 3 billion. That is our problem,” said Nanok.

When the President took to the stand, he went bare knuckle with the county boss.

If some idiot stands here and says that Uhuru is interested in the oil of others, ashindwe na Mungu, shetani yeye, mshenzi. People should not lie to Kenyans. I am not the one who passes the law, it is Parliament,

“My work is to sign off and then someone stupid comes here and says that I…that one I can’t and you should not be people who will listen to propaganda. If you do, it is not I that will get lost, but you people. If they think I am someone to be threatened and blackmailed, they should look for someone else,

“Votes are votes and we will come to ask for them from others. Whether you give them to us or not, the world will not end. Wacha story mingi hapa,” responded Uhuru.
