Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja with Embakasi East MP Babu Owino.[Photo/citizentv]Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja has revealed the type of his relationship with he has with Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino.
According to Sakaja, he has always had a friendship with Babu since their days at University of Nairobi.
Sakaja made the revelations during an interview with Capital fm while responding to criticism from a section of Jubilee lawmakers aftersecuring the release of Owino from police cells.
"Owino is not only a leader in Nairobi but he is first a resident in Nairobi. Securing his release from prison is not an issue which should have been politicized,” said Sakaja.
Sakaja said that he came to the rescue of Owino since he is a leader in Nairobi
Hefurther slammed claims by some Jubilee Party members that he was an opposition sympathizer.
“It is really unfortunate that the two leaders had to politicize the issue,” added Sakaja.
Babu Owino was arrested for allegedly assaulting a parking attendant at Fortis Towers compound in Westlands
