The MP has instead said that the interests of youth are clearly captured in the manifesto and agenda of the new Jubilee party.

He added that young people were behind the merger of Jubilee Alliance affiliate parties to have the Jubilee Party formed.

He stated that Jubilee Party has the agenda of young people contrary to claims being made by some politicians.

“It is young Kenyans who have been pushing for the merger of Jubilee parties to have a single party that will bring Kenyans together,” said Sakaja.

He also said that young people have a huge stake in the new Jubilee party. A section of youths allied to the party have been complaining that the new Jubilee party has old faces.

The new Jubilee party will be launched next month and will be President Uhuru Kenyatta’s vehicle in seeking re-election come 2017 elections.
