Nairobi Senator Johnson Sakaja has exposed what he terms as major loopholes in the deal between President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking on Sunday in Mombasa during a press conference, Sakaja said that it was pointless to make plans for the future generations without involving the youth.

“You cannot build bridges for the future without the youth. Young people will not only beinvolved but also spearhead activities across the country," 

Sakaja, who is Chairman of the Kenya Young Parliamentarians Association(KYPA), maintained he regretted that youth were used to perpetrate violence, hatred andother vices that politicians use to gain power.

Sakaja stated that although there is a council of elders, the Parliamentarians will alsobe taking up the initiative as young leaders and traverse across the country uniting people.

KYPA members met in Mombasa where they elected new leaders since the organisation ismade up of politicians who are 35 years old or younger.The legislators also appointed a 14-member team to spearhead the peace programme thatwill address issues dividing Kenyans.
