According to reports, the under-fire firm is claimed to have played a key role in influencing Kenya's recent two general elections which were both won by President Uhuru Kenyatta. However, speaking during an interview on Citizen TV on Wednesday, the Nairobi Senator denied the claims arguing that the video doing rounds by Cambridge Analytics is a marketing strategy to get new clients."I believe the video doing rounds by Cambridge Analytica was a pitch to clients where they were overselling to get clients," said Sakaja. While defending Uhuru's campaign strategy, the former TNA chairman said that he designed the Jubilee Party logo and came up with the "Tuko Pamoja" slogan contrary to claims that it was done by Cambridge Analytica."I am the one who came up with the Jubilee logo and branding. Cambridge Analytica did not do that. I did the 'Tuko Pamoja' slogan and clasping of hands," he added.
