Governors allied to the Jubilee government have been accused of derailing president Uhuru Kenyatta's efforts to fight graft.
Nominated MP Johnson Sakaja on Wednesday revealed that such governors were part and parcel of individuals who were abetting corruption through their county governments.
"Indeed the president and his deputy have showed a lot of commitment to slaying the corruption dragon.Sadly some of the governors affiliated to the Jubilee party are the ones in whose backyards massive graft is being witnessed, this is sabotage," he told Radio Jambo.
The former National Alliance (TNA)chairman also took a swipe at the opposition for being too preoccupied with graft in the government at the expense of also probing themselves saying that even the opposition has its fair share of dubious dealings.
The Jubilee government has come under sharp criticism from the opposition coalition Cord and a cross section of the public over runaway graft.
