Sakaja, a strong supporter of the Jubilee regime, said that the ruling side has a soft spot for Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka after Gatundu MP Moses Kuria agreed to back his son, Kennedy to join the East African Assembly (EALA).

The lawmaker also called upon the community to vote for Jubilee in order to form part of the next government.

"It would be foolhardy for you to vote for Raila as he will lose to Uhuru. You should join us as we form the next government," he said as quoted by Star.

Sakaja and other Jubilee politicians meet hostility in Ukambani as they attempted to rally the electorate behind the President.

The team comprising of Sakaja, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria, Nominated legislator Isaac Mwaura, former Kibwezi MP Kalembe Ndile and former Cabinet minister Amos Kimunya had a rough time during the tour.

During the tour  Kalembe Ndile exuded confidence that he will become the next MP for Mavoko despite the hostile treatment ahead of the August general elections.
