Nairobi County Senator Johnson Sakaja has clarified that National Super Alliance Leader Raila Odinga was representing everyone in NASA who was not in the meeting.
According to Sakaja, the former Prime minister is not a colleague of NASA co-principals Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula, but their leader.
“Baba was representing now the rest of everyone who were not there because he is the leader. Wetangula, Musalia and Kalonzo are not Baba’s colleagues, he is not their colleague, he is their leader,” said Sakaja.
“It is the same way Uhuru is not Ruto’s colleague, he is the leader. There must always be one leader somewhere."
peaking to Hot 96 FM on Monday, the senator also added that the two leaders to where the dialogue should start are Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
"The leader of NASA is Raila Odinga and the president of the country is Uhuru Kenyatta, so it starts there,” noted the Senator.
He also said that thought the meeting is not the end game, it has moved millions of Kenyans.
“Though shaking hands and saying they will work together is not the end of it, it is not a solution but it is such a huge step because remember the millions of Kenyans who moved at the single word,” said Sakaja.
