Kajiado Member of Parliament Moses Ole Sakuda has said that former Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth and leader of Kenya National Congress (KNC) party is working to redeem himself to the people of the Central Kenya region.
This comes after Kenneth hinted at vying for Nairobi gubernatorial seat come 2017 elections.
Speaking to the Star Newspaper on Monday October 24th, Sakuda said that Kenneth committed a sin by vying for presidency in the 2013 elections where many viewed his move as impeding Uhuru Kenyatta's easy election.
"Peter Kenneth wants to redeem himself to the Central Kenya region. As it now stands, the region is locked to President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto. In order to remain relevant to the region, he only has to support Uhuru's re-election in 2017," said Sakuda.
