Kanu secretary general Nick Salat known for coining the famour phrase ‘ndani ndani ndani’ has raised a protest cry after being neglected from UhuRuto rally’s programme.
Salat said he was not even recognised on two occasions when President Uhuru Kenyatta and his DP William Ruto recently toured Bomet county.
He accused National Assembly Deputy Speaker Joyce Laboso for being behind the ploy, adding that she was the one who should have mentioned him.
The secretary general said it was very wrong for him to be left out since his party, Kanu, is supporting the re-election of Uhuru.
“It is sad that you [Jubilee] want our support as a party [Kanu], yet in the two times the President has toured Bomet county, you have completely declined to acknowledge my presence. You have not even invited me to wave to the people,” Salat said.
However, Laboso has hit out at Salat asking him to “stop being a cry baby”.
“Just like other guests, I was also invited to talk,” she said.
